61-year-old Chevy Bel Air looks great as a 710-PS restomod

A unique Chevrolet Bel Air coupe went up on sale a few weeks ago looking like it was just assembled at the factory. We have only stumbled upon it now and thought it would be nice to show it to you.

The seller pointed out that they acquired the car as little more than a rusted hull. An uncredited tuning company stripped it down to the last screw, removed the rust, put some new chrome on OEM parts and resprayed the exterior in a shade of wine red.

To differentiate the restomod from the original, it received stylish new five-spoke wheels and a slammed suspension. The exhaust pipes were redirected to the side without any filters for a particularly impressive V8 soundtrack.

Speaking of which: the Bel Air was LS3-swapped and cranked up to 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW). Regrettably, we do not know any of the details or the selling price.
