Ringbrothers builds restomod of 46-year-old SUV

Car tuner Ringbrothers is well-known for its muscle-car customization jobs, but its latest project is something quite different. The company will come to the impending SEMA show in Las-Vegas with its first-ever SUV restomod.

The car will offer a modern reinterpretation of the 1972 K5 Chevrolet Blazer. The only teaser image available only shows the outlines of the Ford Bronco’s main nemesis.

The original Blazer series featured a removable hard top, but it looks like the Ringbrothers variant won’t have any at all.

The tuner claims the car will come powered by a modern LS3 V8 engine otherwise found in the Chevrolet Corvette series. It will also feature a reworked body and a roll cage.

Prices and availability remain unknown.
