This 48-year-old Chevrolet Blazer shows us how it’s done, really

This collection-worthy Chevrolet Blazer K5 restomod is a superb example of how such projects should be executed. Let’s watch and learn.

The 1972 model year off-roader boasts an elegant bright red paintjob with chrome and polished steel accents all around, as well as 15-inch steel rims and a filter-free Flowmaster exhaust. It has a neat soft top instead of the removable hardtop and therefore resembles a convertible more than an SUV. A fresh radiator grille and OEM-style LED headlights wrap up the things on the outside.

The interior causes as much excitement as the body. There is a three-spoke, power-assisted steering wheel, a climate control unit, and an extra seat row where the truck bed used to be. A high-end audio system with a subwoofer and USB support makes sure the driver and passengers are awake and in good mood.

The restomod comes powered by a General Motors V8 partnered up with three-gear automatic and rear differential. No specs are provided.
