U.S.-based tuning company Roadster Shop has introduced a restomod based on a 48-year-old Chevrolet C10 truck. Dubbed Urban Cowboy, it oozes nostalgia but runs the latest hardware.
To begin with, the restorers completely disassembled the pickup, cleaned it thoroughly and put it back together. To make sure it lasts even longer, the body received a fresh paint coat in blue and white.
The interior design was handled by another company, Avant Garde. The stock engine made way for a modern LT1 V8 from General Motors. The mill hits the wheels with 455 PS (449 hp / 335 kW) through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The company points out that suspension and handling were been improved to facilitate driving on highways at up to 145 km/h (90 mph).
