Chris Evans boasts his 1967 Chevrolet Camaro ‘Captain America’

You may remember that a while ago, U.S. comedian and car aficionado Jay Leno got behind the wheel of Chris Evans’ 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, restored and modernized by SpeedKore. Back then, we only caught a glimpse of it, but the Hollywood star yielded to the pleas and revealed his ‘Captain America’ ride in greater detail.

What you see here is a full-fledged restomod complete with the state-of-the-art tech, a shining body and a modern Chevrolet LS3 V8 under the hood, assisted by a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger and four-speed automatic transmission.

The car dons an elegant Grigio Verde Grey livery protected by multiple layers of clear lacquer coating. It rides on HRE Performance’s RS101 wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport sleeks.

Other notable upgrades include BAER six-piston front brakes with 14” perforated discs, Detroit Speed Kit 3 suspension kit on the front axle, and a four-link kit (uncredited) on the rear one.

The cabin sports a bi-color brown leather trim with precious wood inserts decorating the wheel and certain other parts, and houses the ridiculously expensive Recaro Ford Performance seats. The center console of the unique 1967 Chevrolet Camaro ‘Captain America’ sports a shield wielded by the titular Marvel Comics superhero.

On a side note: Chris Evans received this ride as a gift from Robert Downey-Jr., famous for his role of the Iron Man in the same cinematic universe. Its price is estimated at U.S. $275,000.
