Trans Am Depot dials the Chevrolet Camaro up to 11

The Florida-based car customizer Trans Am Depot often accepts regular styling jobs and blows them out into large-scale tuning projects. These two recent works should give you a good idea.

Both sports cars are referred to as “Trans Am 455 Super Duty” and belong to the Outlaw Edition of the Chevy Camaro. The main difference is that the blue one was released in 2017 and the orange one two years later. Both received numerous exterior and cabin upgrades, and were stylized to look like something out of the late 1970s or early 80s. Watch the two videos, we promise they are worthwhile!

Tom Sawyer, the Chief Engineer/Designer of the company, designed the 2017 Camaro Trans Am. True to the credo of his namesake from Mark Twain’s novels, he endowed it with a certain aura of creativity and adventurousness.

Aside from purely aesthetic changes, the limited Camaro series comes with a range of engine boost options. You can even go beyond 1,000 hp (745 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque if you wish. Further mods are available for the transmission, the suspension, and the cabin.
