Tomy Drissi, a well-known U.S. professional racing driver and movie industry ad expert, has finished restoring a 51-year-old Chevy Camaro Z/28.
The two-door coupe shipped with the optional RS/SS packages pre-installed, as well as numerous other neat extras that barely needed restoration after half a century of non-use. This is why Tomy went easy on this one, choosing to repair what was out of service while adding nothing new. He even left the stock 5.0-liter V8 rated at 300 hp (224 kW) and the four-speed Muncie manual gearbox in place.
The 11-minute video Tomy posted a couple of days ago clearly demonstrates that you only really need skill and regular training to perform amazing drift stunts, and not expensive bells and whistles.
