Chevrolet launched the Camaro SS Fifty Edition four years ago to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Camaro. The car had a unique grille design, special badges and… Actually, little besides. No wonder people started taking it to tuners.
The Senner Tuning team from Germany beefed up this specific example. They started things off by raising the engine output from 453 to 520 hp (338 -> 388 kW), replacing the exhaust manifold with catalysts, the air filter and the distribution shafts. They also reprogrammed the ECU. No acceleration times were disclosed, but the stock Camaro sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds and tops out at 290 km/h (180 mph).
On the purely aesthetic side of things, the anniversary-themed Camaro now boasts gorgeous 22-inch Vossen VPS-315T rims in matte black. You could see these on an Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 before, but as far as we are aware, it is a first for the Camaro. KW Variant 3 coilovers help the wheels fill out their arches perfectly, creating a much sportier and more dynamic image.
