As car companies are drawing up the preliminary operational results of the first quarter of the year, everybody points out solid performance of the muscle car segment of the market.
The Chevrolet Camaro, the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger have all performed better than in the same period of the preceding year. The Mustang topped the chart with 14,711 units sold and a growth of 5.2 percent. Dodge trailed it closely with 11,371 units sold and a 2% YoY increase.
Things went worse for the Chevy Camaro in absolute terms with only 7,780 units sold. However, if you consider the overall dynamics, the model demonstrated the biggest year-on-year growth at 15.9%.
