Classic muscle cars arguably make for difficult restoration material due to their common issued with handling and drivetrain wear. This makes us respect companies like Finale Speed, which put a lot of effort into resurrecting this 54-year-old Camaro.
The car ended up with an all-new carbon-fiber body and a 6.4-liter supercharged V8 under the hood. The fuel pump, the supercharger belts and the drivetrain have all been overhauled. As befits an American classic, this one uses a six-speed M/T to drive its rear wheels, although the rear end is new and there is an LSD for improved handling. The power amounts to 660 PS (650 hp / 485 kW), which is plenty for a lightweight restomod like this one.
Other noteworthy modifications include 18-inch multi-piece forged wheels, Wilwood brakes and a nearly brand-new interior.
