This Camaro-faced trike dreams about being a Honda bike

A fascinating crossbreed between a Honda motorbike and a Chevrolet Camaro is up for grabs in California right now. The price isn’t exorbitant at $9,100, but the seller admits that more investment will be needed before the three-wheeler can hit the road.

A Honda Valkyrie cruiser bike made from 1997 until 2003 was picked as the base for the project. It came with a 1.5-liter flat-six engine rated at 101 PS (100 hp / 75 kW). The engine is partly functional but needs its carburetors rebuilt to unlock full power.

For starters, the tuner converted the bike into a tricycle using Volkswagen suspension parts and aftermarket disc brakes. They also molded a new front end and doors out of glass fiber reinforced plastic while using metal for the rest of the bodywork. The idea was to stylize the trike after the vintage 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.

According to the listing, whoever ends up buying this unfinished build will have to realign the body panels better and conduct other minor repairs before it is complete. All documents for the original Valkyrie bike are included, so making it street-legal should be possible.
