Kyle Bickley, of Offroad Power Products, USA, has unveiled his own rendition of the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 pickup equipped with Duramax diesel.
The car rides 32 millimeters (1.25 inches) higher thanks to new suspension springs and Multimatic DSSV shocks. Up front, there is a robust-looking bumper with a winch, and the factory wheels make room for matte-black beadlocked rims wrapped in huge 35-inch tires. To fit the latter into the wheel arches, Kyle had to cut the car body, so reverting to stock configuration isn’t an option anymore.
The truck bed houses a spare wheel, a fuel canister, a tent and other utensils for surviving in the wilderness.
Finally, the diesel engine gains a power boost to 217 bhp (162 bkW), courtesy of an improved air intake system and an ECU remap.
