Michigan-based tuner Lingenfelter has devised another customization plan for the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 that alters both its tech and looks.
In this so-called ZR2-L Edition, the pickup gets a powerful supercharger that raises its engine output from 308 hp (230 kW) and 372 Nm (274 lb-ft) of torque to 450 hp (336 kW) and 510 Nm (380 lb-ft). Further mods include a new intercooler, a Dual Performance exhaust system, and an ECU tune.
The car rides 40 mm (1.6”) higher than stock and boasts custom 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT/X off-road tires. Rounding off the list are pleasant little details, such as new LED-based brake lights and DRLs, robust towing hooks, a tailgate spoiler, and assorted decals and badges.
