U.S.-based tuner shop Mallett Performance has built a rather extreme 2015 Chevrolet Colorado truck. Care for a detailed look?
On the outside, the car gained a few modest aerodynamic improvements, including a front spoiler with an integrated splitter, a different hood cover with air intakes, and a tailgate spoiler lip. It also received Forgeline MS3C Concave rims measuring 19”x9.5” at the front end and 20”x13” at the rear end, wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Rivals rubber. Height-adjustable suspension with a tri-link system and a mid-frame crossbar rounds off the list.
The main highlight of the project lies hidden under the hood, however. The stock 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 ditches both of its turbochargers in favor of a single high-end Magnuson supercharger. Combined with a new intercooler, exhaust system and ECU, it results in the output skyrocketing from 305 hp (228 kW) to 700 hp (522 kW) – more than twice the stock power!
High-end Brembo brakes and new anti-roll bars wrap up the build.
