The legendary Chevrolet Corvette sports car series will soon go through its next, 8th iteration. The new Corvette Mk8 will celebrate its official reveal this spring. In the meantime, the company says goodbye to the current generation by releasing a limited series called ‘Final Edition’ in Europe.
The small batch has the Z06 Grand Sport trim at its base. You may remember that the Grand Sport version comes equipped with a 6.2-liter, naturally aspirated engine with 466 hp (347 kW) and accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds. In turn, the Z06 version ships with a more powerful engine rated at 659 hp (491 kW) and takes 3.7 seconds to rev up to the same speed.
The Final Edition Corvette is available in various unique colors and sports carbon-ceramic performance brakes, a part-carbon body, quasi-sport seats and a telemetry system.
Optional equipment for the Z06 Final Edition includes a front splitter, a spoiler and Michelin performance tires. Buyers of the Grand Sport version get all of the above in base.
The Grand Sport Final Edition comes priced at €116,500, while the Z06 starts at €139,500.
