Hennessey Performance is working on a special version of the newest Chevrolet C8 Corvette. The mid-engine sports car will be getting dual turbochargers alongside a number of forged parts, which will enable lifting the performance all the way up to 1200 HP (895 kilowatts). Lower-end upgrades will also be available.
Company founder John Hennessey pointed out that the company has spent several months polling potential byers to find out what kind of modifications and options they would like to see in their new C8 Corvette. Multiple upgrade plans were designed based on these polls.
Initial shipments will include a custom exhaust system, dual turbos for a performance boost to the abovemntioned 1200 hp (895 kW), and a reinforced dual-clutch transmission. On the outside, every Hennessey C8 Corvette 2020 will wear a brand-new body kit called CarbonAero.
Later on, many other accessories will be added to the catalogue, including Brembo performance brakes, adjustable suspension, and several wheel sets to choose from.
