At the international motor show in Dubai, the long-awaited premiere of the novelty of the American autoconcern General Motors - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 2019 model year - was held. As it was stated at the official ceremony, the car became more powerful than ever.
To doubt the veracity of this loud statement is clearly not necessary, because the novelty has received from its creators a recycled 6.2-liter LT5 engine, which easily produces 755 horsepower and 969 Nm of torque. This was achieved thanks to the installation of the company's own development - a dual fuel injection system. The car accelerates to 337 km / h, but how much time it takes to "jerk" to "hundred" in General Motors is not specified. By the way, buyers will be offered to choose between a seven-step "mechanics" and an eight-speed "automatic".
The new Corvette ZR1 will be available with two packages: Low Wing and ZTK Performance Package (High Wing). The first is aimed at generating additional downforce, and the second involves reconfiguring the Magnetic Ride Control system, Michelin track tires and a modified chassis. Thanks to the installation of such a package, the handling of the car is significantly improved.
In terms of interior design, customers will be offered leather trim Nappa, a carbon fiber steering wheel, a Bose acoustic speaker and a Performance Data Recorder. The car will be limited edition, and official sales will start next spring, as the official representative of General Motors said.
