GM has shared a short fragment of its upcoming documentary about the development of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray series – and finally revealed the car’s Nürburgring time.
Apparently, the C8 Stingray took 7 minutes 29.9 seconds to complete the North Loop. To put things into perspective, the latest Porsche Carrera did the same in 7 min 30.41 sec, while the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 pulls ahead slightly with its 7 min 28 sec.
The mid-engined supercar hit the spotlight in summer 2019 with a V8 6.2 under the hood churning out 502 hp (375 kW) along with 637 Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed semi-automatic transmission with preselection enables it to sprint to 97 km/h (60 mph) in under three seconds and max out at 312 km/h (194 mph).
