The well-known U.S. car maker Chevrolet has presented a redesigned 2019 Corvette ZR1 Convertible at the L.A. Car Show in Los-Angeles, U.S.A. earlier today.
The car immediately draws attention to its enormous 6.2-liter LT5 V8 monster engine capable of at least 765 horsepower and 969 Nm torque, which allows it to make 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in less than three seconds. Although the convertible weighs roughly 60 kilograms (130 lbs) more than its coupe counterpart, the manufacturer claims it does not affect its performance in any way.
Those who find the raw power Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible still lacking (for whatever reason) may consider installing an optional ZTK Performance Package. The $2,995 tuning kit includes a splitter, a large spoiler, a set of broader tires and the Magnetic Ride System.
Prices for the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe and the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible start at $119,995 and $123,995, accordingly.
