Carefully restored 1965 Chevy Corvette looking for a new owner

This 55-year-old Chevrolet Corvette has been thoroughly rebuilt on an up-to-date tube chassis and is currently up for grabs in California.

The owner purchased it back in 2009, gave it a soft top and a new windshield, refreshed the chrome applications and repainted the entire body silvery-blue. He then proceeded to swap the engine for an LS6 V8 mill of the C5 Corvette Z06 model. The 5.7-liter unit send around 385 hp (287 kW) to the wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.

The list of modifications also mentions revised steering, suspension, brakes, wheels and interior. The latter includes Pontiac Fiero seats, racing-style harnesses, new dash gauges, a full-fledged climate control system, and a Custom Autosound player. The odometer reads 11,000 miles, which translates to roughly 17,700 kilometers.
