The first out of the 19 planned Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ replicas has shipped to its buyer, and eight more are already paid for. Prices stay unknown.
The Berlinetta-style car pays homage to the vintage Iso Grifo A3/L model while packing the chassis and powertrain of the C7 Corvette. The manufacturer had originally intended to use a custom 6.8-liter V8, but later reverted to using the supercharged 6.2-liter LS4 V8 rated at 660 PS (651 hp / 485 kW) and 881 Nm (650 kW).
The seventh-gen ‘Vette comes with a choice between seven-speed manual and automatic, and the IsoRivolta GTZ uses the latter in conjunction with paddle shifters. The car hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and maxes out at 315 km/h (195.7 mph).
