Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has come up with a performance-oriented exhaust solution for the 8th-gen Chevrolet Corvette that doesn’t just change the sound, but also improves engine output.
Dyno tests have shown that the net gain amounts to 19 hp (14 kW) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) of torque through most of the RPM range. You can slot in the upgrade in a relatively hassle-free way and even adjust the position of the valve using OEM controls. All in all, this looks like a sound option for new ‘Vette owners (pardon the pun).
Lingenfelter says the system will be compatible with other mods it will unveil later on.
