Corvette C8 gains features heading into 2021

The 2021 Chevy Corvette is still the same C8 that caused ripples throughout the industry when it premiered in 2019, but it improves over the old formula in a few ways.

Much of the novelty concerns the infotainment system, which finally gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support along with an improved seatbelt warning. Specifically, it will no longer launch until the belt is buckled.

Dual-tapping the Z button on the steering wheel now unlocks access to Performance Traction Management (PTM) settings.

The underlying tech stays unchanged, which in the case of the C8 ‘Vette means a 6.2L V8 engine pumping out 495 hp (369 kW).
