ProCharger provides details about the 700-HP C8 Corvette supercharger kit

The mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray goes from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds, but this does not render it exempt from tuning attempts. ProCharger has a particularly interesting offer being prepared.

The tuner released the specs of the supercharger kit it revealed about a month ago. As it happens, the induction pressure amounts to 8-9 psi, the intake manifold is made from an aluminum billet via CNC machining, and the intercooler operates air-to-water.

The result is a boost from the original 502 PS (495 hp / 369 kW) to 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW). The torque remains to be measured, and we suspect transmission mods could be needed to achieve higher values. The one thing we are certain of is that the setup looks great from an aesthetic point of view.

Pre-orders should start in a matter of weeks if all goes according to plan, and prices are pending.
