Ever fancied sprucing up your Chevy Camaro with these C8 Corvette taillights?

The Chevrolet Camaro is really an agile and practical car, but it naturally pales before the gorgeous Corvette. What are your options if you cannot afford a C8? How about a little imitation?

These aftermarket brake lights look nearly identical to the ones that adorn the hind side of the mid-engined Chevy sports car. The shapes and the checkmark patterns inside are very true to original, so if you happen to have a spare $700 lying around, it could be a valid way of expressing your affection.

The vendor warns that the parts are solely compatible with the late fifth-gen Camaro models produced in 2014 and 2015. The earlier model sports quad brake lights that arguably look better than those boring twin lights on the more recent model. You can install them yourself in a plug-and-play fashion within an hour or so, but a second pair of hands will come in handy for removing and putting back the bumper.

It is official that the 2022 Chevy Camaro comes with the optional Rapid Blue paintjob of the C8 ‘Vette. Just whether it is enough to convince people to buy it remains to be seen: model sales have been on the decline for eight years now.
