We have already seen out fair share of C8 Corvette Z06 spy pics, and even a few videos. The main eye-catcher has always been the massive rear tires nothing like the ones on the standard C8 Corvette Stingray. Thanks to an attentive vlogger, we now know the specific model.
Corvette_Ron_Himself says he accidentally stumbled upon a parking lot of C8 test vehicles in Arizona. He approached a Z06 from behind and made a high-resolution photo, confirming that it wore Michelin 345/25 21-inch rubber. 345 millimeters, or 13.5 inches, is the tire width the 1978 Lamborghini Countach received for the first time in automotive history. It was the widest by far among production vehicles back then, and still remains one of the widest options available for any light passenger car.
The new Z06 should debut later this year as a year 2022 model.
