One out of 19 carbon-bodied, C7 Corvette-powered Iso Rivolta GT Zagato supercars is currently up for grabs in the United States for a hefty 1,350,000 USD. This is the only vehicle of its kind in the USA.
The supercar pays homage to the exotic Iso Grifo A3/C from the 1960s. The design team took the Chevrolet Corvette C07 Z06 as a starting point and made an effort to stylize it after the timeless classic. The entire bodywork and lighting are original and take up to 2,500 hours to produce and install.
The engine stays stock Corvette, which means a 6.2-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and RWD system for 660 PS (651 hp / 485 kW).
The seller claims it is the first car in the Zagato production batch, which took two years to build and never changed ownership after the original purchase. The auction card states the mileage as 15 miles (around 24 km), while the description says 100 miles (160 km), but in either case, it should be as close to new as possible. Adding value to the coupe is the fact that it won the top prize in its category at the Quail Motorsports Gathering in Monterey.
