What will go on in the Corvette family after the Z06 comes out? You may remember the E-Ray Hybrid, the 1,000-plus-HP Zora or the hardcore ZR1, but this is not a complete list. A Z06 GT3.R spec is coming to the track soon.
The model is not going to be road-legal, but it will be mass-produced and available to anyone interested. This is actually the first time Chevrolet offers a ready-to-go racecar in a large production series for enthusiast racing teams to buy without any special requirements.
From the technical standpoint, the car is a C8.R underneath that metal, and it uses a 5.5-liter V8 to drive the wheels with 500-600 American horsepower (507–608 PS; 373–447 kW, depends on your chosen spec).
Prices are pending.
