Lingenfelter Performance has cooperated with Corsa Performance to design a very special four-valve exhaust system for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette, which it describes as the best the market has to offer.
Whether to believe it or not is up to you, but the assorted details seem to support that claim. First, the aftermarket kit weighs nearly 6 kilos (13 pounds) less than OEM, despite being made of high-quality stainless steel. Second, it enables the ‘Vette to produce additional 20 whp (14 kW) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) of torque on the dyno, quite a feat for such a simple upgrade. Third, it sounds amazing – but you should probably watch the video and listen for yourself rather than taking our word for it.
