Unusual Chevrolet Corvette restomod up for grabs for $0.4M

A U.S.-based dealership specializing in exotic and luxury cars is looking for buyers interested in a unique 1964 Chevrolet Corvette restomod. The asking price of $399,995 is there for the technical upgrades, not rarity or collector value.

Judging by the photos, this particular ‘Vette received an all new, completely different body styled to look like other performance cars of that era but with certain modern touches as well. Note particularly the new fenders, hood, front bumper and elongated rear.

The cabin layout stays largely the same, but there is an abundance of luxury features there, including new steering wheel and transmission lever, a high-end audio system and a unique trim combination in the same shades as the exterior.

A 5.7-liter V8 under the hood drives the wheels through a manual transmission. The seller does not give any details here, other than saying that the car has covered 250 miles (402 km) since it was built.
