Chevrolet has posted a short video featuring an all-wheel-drive Corvette hybrid some expect it to launch next year. An all-electric version should follow later.
General Motors President Mark L. Reuss pointed out on his LinkedIn page that more details would be coming soon, including new model names.
The part-electric Corvette is expected to churn out between 600 and 650 horsepower, slotting in just below the Z06 flagship with its 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW). The company may achieve this level of performance by combining a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 with an electric motor. The latter will probably drive the front wheels: take a closer look at the video, and you will see how the front axle kicks up the most snow.
