A 1978 Chevy C3 Corvette with around 2,500 km (1,550 miles) under its belt is up for grabs in Moscow, Russia right now for an asking price of 5,900,000 rubles.
The seller highlights that the vehicle has the lowest mileage of all C3 models currently on sale, and is in great condition after sitting in a garage in the United States for 42 years. It was then imported into Russia and registered with a license plate.
The C3 ‘Vette comes with standard 15-inch wheels, an air conditioner and a detachable top. The interior makes use of light-hued leather and Alcantara, and has a Pioneer radio with a USB port tucked into the middle armrest – according to the seller, it was put there in order to keep the interior as intact as possible.
Power comes from an unspecified 5.7-liter V8 engine rated at 195 PS (192 hp / 143 kW). The displacement and power rating point to it being an L82. An automatic transmission drives the rear wheels, and there are disc brakes at all four corners.
The original Chevrolet Corvette C3 (see video) was a V8-only sports car. Depending on the specification, displacement varied between 5 and 7.4 liters, while the power ranged from 182 PS (179 hp / 134 kW) in the base spec to 466 PS (460 hp / 343 kW) in the top spec.
