Chevrolet Corvette Z06 gets a couple of aftermarket exhaust options

Lingenfelter is taking orders for two new exhaust systems fitting the latest Chevrolet Corvette Z06: the road-legal version will set you back $3,500, and the track-only version is $1,000 cheaper than that.

Both units are made from stainless steel and feature automatic valves that open during acceleration. The only difference between them is that the street version has a couple of mufflers, while the track version has none. According to the tuner, both improve engine output by 12 horsepower (9 kilowatts) and 17 Newton-meters (13 pound-feet) of torque when installed.

The original vendor is Corsa Performance. Every exhaust comes with a lifetime warranty, with the valves covered by a 5-year warranty.

In case you needed a reminder, the latest Z06 ‘Vette uses a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 and gets 678 PS (670 hp / 500 kW) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque out of it.
