Milltek endows the C8 Corvette with a louder voice

In its Milltek Sport rendition, the mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette Stingray puts on a more sporty-aggressive persona while shedding 17.6 kilos (39 pounds) of weight at the same time and getting cool-looking tailpipes.

The whole kit starts just under $3,500 and already includes valves that dynamically change the sound profile based on the current speed. In the video, the sports car howls like it’s on the racetrack as soon as it reaches its highway cruising speed. The manufacturer avoids mentioning any specific power or torque figures, but says the system improves the flow, so the engine should run cooler with it installed.

For the tailpipes, customers can choose from a couple of stainless-steel variants, blue-burnt titanium, brushed titanium and carbon fiber. The brushed titanium is the most expensive of all, ramping up the total to $3,851.

Ordering the new Milltek exhaust for the C8 ‘Vette is already possible on the British tuner’s official website in the USA.
