A car enthusiast known as Mr. Kaiser drove over 2,000 kilometers (1,250+ miles) to hand over his previous-gen Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to the tuning gurus at Late Model Racecraft. It’s pretty impressive what they have already achieved, considering that more is underway.
In its stock form, the sportiest version of the C7 ‘Vette slams the wheels with 659 PS (650 hp / 485 kW). The tuner adds a 1.7-liter supercharger, rebuilds the fuel system to work best on ON93 gas and introduces other modifications. This culminates in the car hitting 811 PS (800 hp / 596 kW) on the dyno. Mr. Kaiser is already planning the next stage, though. It would involve a superior turbocharger – likely from Magnussen – and will see the car hit the 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 746 kW) mark. Having said that, a general engine overhaul might prove necessary as well, since the car already has 145,000 km (90,000 miles) on it.
