Does this homegrown 1990 Chevy pickup make your eyes bleed, too?

A custom-made 1990 Chevrolet truck equipped with a cheesy-looking Shadi 2000 tuning kit from the late ‘80s will go under the hammer in the USA this weekend. Rumors say no more than four such vehicles have survived to this day. There are no price estimates.

It is believed that Shadi produced a total of seven such kits for Chevrolet trucks. The idea was to lend the small pickup a pinch of sports car aesthetic. With all 12 body kit parts installed, the front end looks drastically different from stock and somewhat reminiscent of the Chevrolet Corvettes of the era. The front bumper, the headlights and the hood all get replaced.

The modifications continue with wheel arch extensions, complex side sills with built-in lights, a new rear bumper and tailgate, and a rear wing of sorts. The owner additionally outfitted their example with upsized wheels shod in high-profile tires not unlike those used in drag racing. The proportions are all over the place, but the result definitely stands out.

The listing claims the vehicle is in decent condition, but avoids mentioning any technical details. All we know is that the powertrain, which comprises a 5.7-liter V8 and an automatic transmission, has 86,700 km (slightly under 54,000 miles) of use on it since 1990.
