Chevrolet’s latest video dedicated to the all-electric Equinox focuses on the car’s dash panel. The launch is not expected anytime soon, but the automaker hopes to be able to offer the EV at under $30,000 in its most basic trim.
The footage briefly focuses on some air vents before shifting to the center console with a cupholder in it and a barely distinguishable control panel. A round dial with buttons in the middle is also shown.
It is unclear what the glow effect shown in the passenger’s side of the dash panel is supposed to mean. It could be a premium backlight option or just a marketing gimmick made for the teaser alone.
One final detail that has us scratching heads is the number ’48211’ on the odometer. It is rare that automakers let any mileage numbers show up in teaser vids without some sort of hidden message attached. But what could it possibly mean? If you have any idea, be sure to let us know in the comments!
