Elderly 1987 Chevrolet K10 Silverado enjoys a second youth

A sale ad has recently popped up in Tennessee, USA, offering a fully restored and modernized 1987 Chevrolet K10 Silverado pickup truck. Fancy a look?

The owner of the car, which packs a Chevy 350 Small-Block V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, equipped it with a cat-back exhaust system, new brakes (discs on the front axle, drums on the rear one), and a Rough Country lift kit.

The truck sports a superb glossy-black paintjob set off by numerous chrome highlights. The latter category includes both bumpers, the grille, the side mirrors, the modern 22-inch rims, and much more.

The cabin comes wrapped in a combination of Cherry Red leather and somewhat warmer-tinted fabric.

On an interesting side note, ‘Silverado’ was the name of a trim version of the Chevrolet K10 in 1987. It was not until late 1990s that it became a standalone model name.
