The second generation of Chevrolet Orlando is currently under development in China. To make waiting for the premiere more bearable, the manufacturer has revealed a few photos demonstrating the exterior of the new compact van.
The shots depict a Chevrolet Orlando Redline, which boasts an overall sporty appearance with red-and-black accents throughout its body.
The next generation will preserve the original dimensions. Essentially, this means that the compact van will still be around 4,600 mm (15.1 ft.) long. It will ship with three seat rows, the rear one folding for more trunk space.
The engine palette of the upcoming Chevrolet Orlando series will likely expand to incorporate a new 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with so far undisclosed characteristics. The cars will be available with automatic and six-speed manual transmission.
The next generation will likely premiere in the autumn of 2018 and might enter the market as early as this winter.
