Chevrolet continues to reveal new teaser pics of its second-generation Orlando SUV. The company had previously shown us the exterior of the main series and the Redline performance variant. Today, we can finally peek into the passenger space of the updated car.
Apparently, the second-gen Chevrolet Orlando gets a laconic interior design without too many embellishments. Its dashboard houses a touch-enabled multimedia display which looks exactly like the one that comes with Blazer, another SUV soon to be released by the automotive marque.
Customers will be able to select between five- and seven-seat versions of the car, the latter featuring a 2+3+2 seat layout. The five-seat model will offer 480 liters of trunk space, expandable to 1,520 liters with the rear seat row folded.
The next Chevrolet Orlando is 32 mm longer, but 29 mm less wide and 5 mm less tall than its predecessor, and has a 36 mm larger wheelbase.
The vehicle comes driven by a 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 156 hp / 116 kW. Automatic transmission is optionally available, but the vehicle only ships with the front drive, since AWD is unpopular in China.
Sales in China begin early this fall.
