Of all the SEMA projects unveiled this year, those by Ringbrothers have stood out more than most. For today, let us have a closer look at this 1948 Chevrolet Super Truck reimagined as an insane racing truck.
The talented team of tuners says the Project Enyo took them more than 10,000 hours to complete. It also involved a large-scale collaboration with third parties: two different companies worked on putting the cab on a custom-made platform. The stainless-steel frame had to be reshaped to meet the modern requirements. In the end, Ringbrothers produced a full-carbon cab that was 100 millimeters (4 inches) narrower than the original, less tall by about the same amount, but longer and with a distinct tapering nose. HRE wheels were put on the axles along with Michelin Pilot Sport rubber at the front end and Bridgestone Potenza at the back.
A giant 8.3-liter Chevrolet V8 built from the ground up by Goodwin Competition Racing Engines slotted in under the hood. The enormous mill can churn out 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 746 kW) on racing fuel. An automatic transmission drives the rear wheels, and the exhaust system boasts titanium side pipes extending from stainless-steel mufflers.
Found inside the cabin are a Vintage Air HVAC and premium leather upholstery.
