The Chevrolet Silverado received a plethora of updates last year, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, improved towing capacity, and a multi-function tailgate. The 2022 Silverado HD now enjoys the same range of upgrades.
Like the normal Silverado, the HD can now be fitted with the transforming tailgate capable of performing six unique functions. Watch the video if you need an overview of what the little cargo door can do at a mere push of a key fob button or one of the dedicated controls found on the truck bed and inside the cabin.
Elsewhere, the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado will be obtainable in a new color called Greenstone Metallic. Authorized dealerships will start registering pre-orders this summer.
