A couple of decades ago, Cadillac tried an incursion into the pickup truck market with the Escalade EXT, which it ultimately axed due to poor sales. Someone apparently still wanted a Cadillac-badged truck, so they purchased a 2004 Chevy Silverado and loaded it with rather questionable mods.
We’re told that the vehicle originally carried racers to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Apparently, two wheels at the rear end did not hold the weight too well, so the owner had them replaced with a double dually system, ending up with ten 22-inch rims on what once was a normal Silverado pickup. They also installed a hydraulic platform lift for easier loading and unloading.
Other modifications of note included blacking out the body (it used to be bi-color from the factory), air-ride suspension, and a humongous 8.6-liter V8 under the hood. The seller claims that dual Garret turbochargers squeeze 1,445 PS (1,425 hp / 1,063 kW) and up to 2,265 Nm (1,671 lb-ft) of torque out of the system, which a five-range Allison A/T carries to the wheels.
The asking price is U.S. $98,000 for a vehicle with unknown mileage. Are you in?
