Coming in at mere $14,395, taxes included, the new Chevrolet Spark is now officially the most affordable light passenger vehicle in the USA.
Its closest competitor is the Mitsubishi Mirage, which has an MSRP of $15,565 after the facelift.
The rest of the small-displacement crowd isn’t quite as affordable, with the Nissan Versa starting at $15,855, Hyundai Accent at $16,390, and Kia Rio $16,815 (listing only manual transmissions).
Despite this, the Spark counts among the slowest sellers on the used car market in the pandemic-stricken 2020. Perhaps the price drop will make it more attractive to those in need of basic, affordable mobility.
