A unique stretched SUV/bus based on a 1962 Chevrolet Suburban platform cropped up on sale in the United States at a $30,000 reserve, but no one was interested.
The off-roader rocks as many as seven doors if you count the driver’s door on the left, four passengers’ doors on the right and two more serving as the tailgate. Before it went on sale, the 12-seater used to carry tourists around Yosemite Park.
The current owner bought the car 33 years ago and had it partially restored in 1994. The units and components are said to be completely in order with no need for maintenance at the moment, while the body shows signs of a long and productive life, such as peeling paint and the occasional speck of rust.
