A resident of Idaho who goes by the screen name Morning Raven has built something excitingly blasphemous out of old Chevrolet Suburban and Honda Accord.
The photos originate from a thematic group on Facebook where little information is given on the origin of the build. Carscoops supposes that the car – which its owner lovingly calls Ansley The Hellbilly Honda – was born out of his infatuation with the Mad Max franchise and the post-apocalyptic aesthetic in general.
The owner himself says he took a sixth-gen Accord and kept modifying its exterior until he also got a hold of an elderly Chevy Suburban. It was then that he decided to merge the two.
He sawed off a part of the Chevrolet body and welded it on top of the Honda, closing the gaps with scrap metal, pieces of gas cans and road signs. The result lacks fenders or a hood, sports a bleak paintjob and has specks of rust here and there. It is also a daily driver, despite all odds.
Drivetrain details are also unavailable, but we would imagine a stock 5.7-liter Suburban V8 still powering all four wheels though a four-speed A/T.
