Callaway fits the 2020 GMC Yukon with a supercharger kit

The U.S. tuner has recently launched its SC560 kit for the Chevrolet Tahoe, and the same upgrade is also available for the technically related GMC Yukon.

Both SUVs, plus the Chevrolet Suburban, utilize the same GMT-900 chassis design by General Motors and mostly differ from each other purely in terms of looks. All three come powered by the same 6.2-liter V8 rated at 420 hp (313 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. Once fitted with the supercharger, the engine gains additional 140 hp (104 kW) and 130 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque.

Those who opted for the mode affordable V8 5.3 spec aren’t left out, either. Another kit, called SC480, can be used for this powertrain, boosting it from the original 355 hp (265 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) all the way to 480 hp (358 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). This involves replacing the intercooler, the air intake system, and the exhaust system.

Noteworthy extras include new 22-inch wheels, floor mats, aluminum pedal pads, and new badges for the body and cabin.
