The name of the design study pays homage to the vintage sedan/coupe line that boasted unparalleled aerodynamic properties when it hit the market back in 1930s (see the video).
The AirFlow Concept is currently exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES-2020) in Las Vegas, USA. Curiously enough, despite all claims to its supreme aerodynamic performance, the company refuses to reveal the specific drag ratio.
Inside, the prototype vehicle features a level floor, just like the Chrysler Pacifica MPV. A single digital architecture is used to bring together and control multiple in-car displays, including the front passenger screen. The manufacturer claims the new interface is highly customizable.
As a pure design study, the Chrysler AirFlow will never make it into series, but certain of its parts and interface elements may still find use in production cars later on.
