Chrysler has joined the CES party with Synthesis Cockpit, an interior concept for its future all-electric cars. The system promises new interaction opportunities with the infotainment system now boasting dual 37.2-inch screens.
The unusually shaped displays are mounted on an otherwise minimalistic dashboard, stretching from one a-pillar to the other. The manufacturer claims the system is AI-powered, enabling cars to study the habits of their drivers and anticipate their intentions.
In addition to this, the company plans on equipping its EVs with a virtual assistant. It will help the owner plan their day, plot routes in accordance with the day schedule and battery charge remaining, and interact with such entities as smart houses, online stores, etc. Last but not least, future Chrysler EVs will take advantage of a cutting-edge Stellantis platform to enable Level 3 semi-autonomous driving.
From the trim standpoint, the manufacturer bets on eco-friendly materials such as fabrics, natural wood and recycled plastics.
