Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles has been producing its Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Grand Caravan MPVs for 35 years. To celebrate this, the company will be releasing a limited series of each minivan, called the 35th Anniversary Edition.
As is often the case with anniversary releases, unique features are few and far between. Both cars sport black leather interior upholstery with purple stitching, commemorative plaques and traditional Special Edition emblems. By default, both will ship in purple, but you may order a different color if you want to.
Sales begin in summer 2019.
It has to be said that crossovers/SUVs have been slowly squeezing minivans/MPVs out of their market segment all around the world lately. However, USA remain one of those few markets where their share in the segment is as high as 55%. For instance, FCA sold 118,000 copies of the Chrysler Pacifica and 152,000 copies of the Dodge Crand Caravan in the USA in 2018 alone.
